In addition to free admission and free food at Watchdog events, you'll get discounts at participating stores and restaurants (look for the Watchdogs sticker in the window) but most importantly, you'll know you're directly supporting the monitoring, testing and reporting of contamination sources and seafood in the Pacific, with clear and transparent results published and explained. We'll be establishing more member benefits soon, so stay tuned by checking the news on our Twitter channel. We'll also be sharing exciting videos and data about your favorite seafoods, and Supporting members can join us on our sailing Eco-Voyages as spots are available.

Marine Watchdogs members follow a simple code:

1. Do no harm. Try to avoid adding to environmental pollution that contributes to ocean degradation.
2. Share information. Show others how to avoid contaminating the marine environment. (But don't be annoying.)

Our sponsors, donors and members fund a small staff with boat equipment, our dive gear, sample collection tools, laboratory testing services, and specialized instruments for detection and mapping the ocean floor, which enable us to discover trash and discarded items like paint and fuel cans that leak toxic materials. In addition, our productions aim to raise public awareness and engage our next generations to think and care about the ocean.
